Terms of Service — Version 2026-10-03 · sha256 24afb34086c9a025…
1. Who you are contracting with.
CortovaVolt TX is operated by DFW AI Services LLC, doing business as Cortova,
a Texas continuing education provider registered with the Texas Department of Licensing
and Regulation (TDLR) under CE provider number 2563.
2. What you are buying.
Access for one named individual to the CortovaVolt TX continuing education course, which
is designed to satisfy four hours of Texas electrician continuing education covering
Texas electrician law and rules, the National Electrical Code as adopted in Texas, and
NFPA 70E electrical safety. Access is personal and may not be shared, resold, or used by
more than one licensee.
Crew purchases. A buyer may purchase several seats in one order. Each seat is delivered as
a one-time seat code sent to the buyer's email address. A seat code grants access to the one
individual who redeems it with their own email address, and that individual becomes the
learner for every purpose in these terms. The buyer of a crew order does not receive course
access unless the buyer also redeems a seat. Seat codes are not refundable once redeemed;
see the Refund Policy for unredeemed codes.
3. Course approval.
A continuing education course may not be offered for credit until TDLR approves it. Where
this course is shown as pending approval, it is not yet approved and no continuing
education credit can be claimed for it. We will not report, or issue a certificate for,
any completion that occurs before approval.
4. Completion is all or nothing.
TDLR does not accept partial completion. Credit requires finishing every required lesson
and accruing the full required instruction time. Seat time is measured by our servers and
accrues only while the course is genuinely in front of you.
5. Honest attendance.
You agree to complete the course yourself and not to defeat, automate, or misrepresent
attendance. We may withhold or revoke a certificate where attendance evidence shows the
course was not genuinely completed, and we may report such cases to TDLR.
6. Your certificate and your record.
On genuine completion, and where the course is approved, we will issue a completion
certificate no later than fifteen days after your completion date, and we will report
your completion to TDLR within one business day of your completion date, and in every
case no later than the seven days TDLR allows. Reporting continuing
education to TDLR is the provider's legal responsibility, not yours.
7. Records.
We retain course completion records for at least two years after completion. You may
request a copy of your own record at any time by writing to help@cortova.net.
8. Availability.
We aim to keep the course available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted
access. If a fault on our side prevents you from completing the course, contact us and we
will restore access or refund you under the Refund Policy.
9. Changes to these terms.
We may update these terms. The version you agreed to at purchase is the version that
governs your purchase, and we keep a record of it.
10. Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Refund Policy — Version 2026-10-03 · sha256 cf2c635125c0a3f6…
1. Thirty-day satisfaction guarantee.
If the course is not for you, for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days
of purchase. The only condition is that we have not yet reported a completion to TDLR for
the seat being refunded. You do not have to explain why, and starting the course does not
reduce the refund.
2. Crew orders.
A seat code that has not been redeemed may be refunded in full within 30 days of purchase,
and the code is cancelled when the refund is made. A redeemed seat is treated as that
learner's own purchase under section 1: it may be refunded within 30 days of the original
purchase date as long as that learner's completion has not been reported to TDLR.
3. After a completion is reported.
Once we have reported your completion to TDLR and issued your certificate, the course has
been delivered and we cannot refund it. Reporting happens within one business day of your
completion date, so a refund request after completion should reach us the same day.
4. If we cannot deliver.
If a fault on our side prevents you from completing the course, or if the course loses its
TDLR approval before you complete it, you receive a full refund without needing to ask for
one. Where the course is sold before approval, and approval is not granted, every purchase
is refunded in full.
5. Partial completion earns no partial refund and no partial credit.
TDLR does not accept partial completion, so there is no partial credit to prorate against.
Refund requests are handled under the sections above, not by the fraction of the course
you finished.
6. How to request a refund.
Write to help@cortova.net from the address you used at purchase, and tell us the name on
the account. We aim to answer within three business days and to return approved refunds to
the original payment method within ten business days.
7. Duplicate or mistaken purchases.
Contact us and we will refund a duplicate purchase in full, whether or not the course has
been started.
Privacy Policy — Version 2026-10-03 · sha256 5d3f645d90b42e1c…
1. Who controls your information.
DFW AI Services LLC (Cortova), TDLR CE provider 2563.
Contact help@cortova.net.
2. What we collect, and why.
a. Identity and license details you enter at enrollment: your legal name, date of birth,
residential address, license type and license number. TDLR requires a provider to
identify participants on the certificate and on the completion roster, so we cannot
issue credit without these.
b. Sensitive identifiers. Where a driver license number or the last four digits of a
Social Security number are supplied, they are stored ONLY as salted SHA-256 hashes.
We never write or log the cleartext, and we cannot recover it.
c. Attendance evidence: which lessons you opened, when, and how much genuine seat time
accrued. This is how the provider evidences instruction time to TDLR.
d. Purchase details: your email address, the amount paid, and the country and state
your payment method reports. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our
servers.
e. Ordinary technical data such as your IP address, used for rate limiting and abuse
prevention.
f. Storefront analytics and advertising measurement. Our public pages (the sales page,
the enrollment page and the order-confirmation page) use Google's tag (Google Ads
conversion measurement, and Google Analytics 4 when enabled) to measure visits, the
pages people read, and completed purchases, so we can tell which of our advertising
brings electricians to the course. When you arrive from a Google ad, Google's click
identifier is kept with your purchase record for that purpose. These tags never run
inside the course player, never receive your name, license number or other
enrollment details, and are not used to build an advertising profile of you. You can
block them with an ordinary content blocker without affecting the course.
3. What we do with it.
We use it to deliver the course, to verify that you completed it, to issue your
certificate, to report your completion to TDLR, and to answer you when you write to us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with.
- TDLR, for the completion roster and certificate reporting the law requires.
- Stripe, our payment processor, for the purchase itself.
- Our hosting and email providers, acting on our instructions.
- Google, for storefront analytics and advertising measurement as described in
section 2(f), which receives page and purchase events (amount and an order id) but
no enrollment details.
Nobody else, unless the law compels it.
5. Reporting to TDLR is not optional.
Once you complete an approved course, the provider is legally required to report that
completion. You cannot withdraw that report, and asking us to delete your record does not
remove the obligation.
6. How long we keep it.
Course completion records are retained at least two years after completion, as TDLR
requires. Audit records are retained longer. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and
accounting rules require.
7. Your choices.
Write to help@cortova.net to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to
delete what we are not required to keep. We aim to respond within ten days, matching the
response window in the TDLR provider FAQ.
8. Marketing email.
If you ask to be told when the course opens, we use your address for that announcement and
for nothing else, and every message carries an unsubscribe link. Asking to be notified is
not a purchase and creates no obligation on you.
9. Security.
Sensitive identifiers are hashed, secrets are encrypted at rest, and access to
administrative surfaces is restricted to named accounts. No system is perfect; if a breach
affects you, we will tell you.
10. Changes.
If we change this policy we will publish the new version and record its version with any
consent taken afterwards.
